Tire Pressure Sensors for Mining Vehicles and Trucks

We offer a range of sensors and mounting options for different vehicle types. The interior of a mining vehicle tire was never designed to house electronic equipment. High pressure, extreme temperatures and liquid additives such as corrosion inhibitors and coolants create a harsh environment that continually tests tire performance and service life. TireAngel TPMS sensors are engineered to perform in these demanding conditions. As a core component of the TireAngel tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), each mining vehicle sensor is individually configured for a specific tire on a specific vehicle. Designed to withstand extreme conditions inside the tire, the sensors respond to pressure fluctuations and transmit accurate pressure and temperature data up to once per second, with pressure readings within 2% of actual pressure. These fully waterproof sensors, designed for mining tires, are deployed at more than 10,000 wheel positions.

We have redesigned the vibration-resistant structure of the internal truck tire pressure sensor for the prolonged, demanding duty cycles of high-speed freight trucks. Optimized mounting and cushioning reduce the effect of external loads on internal components and connections during sustained vibration and transient shocks, lowering the risk of loosening, cracking and signal faults. Systematic engineering and reliability validation help maintain stable sensor operation on demanding roads, improving long-term monitoring reliability and supporting fleet safety and vehicle availability.

External tire pressure sensors provide water, dust and vibration resistance for muddy, dusty and continuously rough operating conditions. Their external mounting allows straightforward installation without tire removal.

TireAngel TPMS offers a new approach to tire pressure and temperature monitoring, with standard valve-stem compatibility and multiple mounting options, including adhesive and magnetic solutions. Reusable magnetic mounts allow sensors to be installed easily without modifying the tire, reducing labor costs and potential vehicle downtime.

TireAngel sensors transmit data by radio frequency to a SafeViewPro terminal installed in the cab. Collected data is sent to the server through a wireless mesh network, GSM or Bluetooth and can be accessed through client software or cloud-based software. Operators can also view the data on the in-cab display. Integration with most major fleet management systems allows dispatchers to monitor tire data within their existing systems.

To maintain TireAngel TPMS quality and reliability, every sensor is produced using rigorous 6S lean-manufacturing procedures and undergoes ongoing quality assurance checks. All products, including the sensors, are designed, manufactured and assembled in-house by TireAngel personnel.
