Mining OTR TPMS: Internal and External Sensor Solutions

TireAngel Mining TPMS is purpose-built for OTR dump trucks, earth movers, haul trucks, loaders, and other heavy-duty mine service vehicles. The system offers both internal and external tire sensor options. Liquid-compatible internal sensors support Patch and Magnetic mounting and are engineered to maintain accurate pressure and temperature measurement in giant OTR tires filled with coolant and sealant—conditions that degrade or disable standard TPMS sensors.

TireAngel provides three data terminal configurations—with or without an in-cab display—so operators can choose the on-vehicle visibility that fits each fleet. All terminals support either TireAngel Cloud Server or on-premise server installation. For telematics and back-office integration, terminals offer 4G, WiFi, Ethernet RJ45, Bluetooth, RS-232, RS-485, CANBUS, and USB-OTG. A REST API is also available, enabling fleets and system integrators to build custom back-end interfaces without developing sensor-level communication from scratch. The resulting data foundation supports predictive tire health, helps reduce unplanned downtime, and improves fleet safety.

Truck Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) Solutions

TireAngel TBR TPMS covers trucks, buses, cable cars, and multi-tire industrial equipment, including logistics fleets, long-haul road trains, and vehicles operating in ports, quarries, and forestry. Both internal and external sensor options are available. Internal sensors are strap-mounted on the rim and built to withstand road vibration and the pressurized, moisture-laden environment inside the tire. External sensors can be paired with purpose-built T-connectors for a leak-free, loss-resistant installation. The system performs a self-check every 4 seconds and transmits a data frame every 2 minutes, with a designed service life of 5–7 years.

A single TPMS terminal can monitor and display up to 224 tires simultaneously in real time. TireAngel provides immediate audio-visual alerts to the driver when preset thresholds are exceeded. Telematics-ready, the system stores, retrieves, and analyzes monitoring data through TireAngel Cloud Server or an on-premise server, and provides communication protocols and a REST API for integration with existing fleet or back-office platforms. This data foundation supports predictive tire maintenance, helps reduce unplanned downtime, and contributes to fuel efficiency and extended tire and retread life.
